Fees and Payment

Actually, they do; their delivery fees are rolled into the overall product cost.  But even with our delivery fee, you’ll still see significant savings compared to traditional distributors.

Payment is expected at the time of acceptance of order.  Payment may be made by either ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfer or Credit Card. Payments made by credit card are subject to a convenience fee of 3%. There is no fee for ACH payment submissions. If you select ACH as your primary payment method, a valid credit card is still required on file. If an ACH transaction is declined for any reason, your credit card on file will be charged.

Creating a Nix86 account

Nix86 is a Common Space for All Vendors.  The typical Restaurant works with 12-15 vendors.  Instead of contacting each individually, Nix86 allows for all of your vendors to be in one platform.  Grab your phone and select the products you need from any of your vendors, anytime, anyplace, all with a single click. Filter your order guides on the fly by Supplier, Category or even where you store them in the restaurant.  You and the applicable supplier receive email confirmations of all orders placed.  Nix86 truly brings you one-click ordering!

Receive your orders from the palm of your hand with the Nix86 app. You can check in your orders from your phone, comparing what you ordered to what you actually received. If there are ever any discrepancies, you can capture images of them with your phone and communicate directly with your suppliers.

Nix86 provides real-time reporting to help your bottom line.  Toss the paper, and track your spend in the cloud. Our easy and intuitive reports allow you to stay on top of what you use, and what you owe. No more filing.

You can easily Create Your Free Account. You’ll be asked to provide basic contact information for you and your restaurant. A customer service representative will then contact you to continue the setup process and answer any questions you may have. Please download our iOS app in the iTunes app store or our Android app in the Google Play store to have us on the go.

Placing an order

The same thing that happens with your traditional distributors — we let you know, suggest substitutions, and let you make the final call.  Most items back in stock by the next business day.

We currently deliver Monday – Friday. We even do same day delivery – just get your order in by 7am. You can also place orders for future dates.

No – we don’t have any minimum order sizes. We know it’s a novel thought, but we feel that you should be free to place any sized order, anytime!

You can use our website (login here) or our free mobile app (download our iPhone or Android app) to conveniently to place your orders. We pre-build out your custom order guide with your purchasing history, but also provide you with access to the full Restaurant Depot catalog for you to shop for additional items and savings.

Delivery

All of our deliveries are 100% guaranteed. If you are unhappy with any product you receive for any reason, you can return it for a full refund. Simply notify us within 24 hours and we will pick any product you wish to return. For damages, you should take a photo upon receipt as documentation.

Nix86 has specially trained shoppers who have mastered the Restaurant Depot aisles, and they know how to pick and pack your order most efficiently. A Nix86 driver, driving a Nix86 or their own vehicle, will then deliver your order to your back door.

Nix86 will unload all products to a location immediately inside the door to your establishment protected from weather and theft. You are responsible for the proper distribution of items to various locations including coolers and freezers.

We will do our best to deliver during your preferred delivery windows. You driver will text/email/call you prior to leaving Restaurant Depot to give you an hour window of when to expect your delivery.
